Parent & Family Programs Graduate Assistantship
Assists with the planning and execution of Parent & Family Programs (PFP) events and activities, including Family Weekend and Parent & Family Orientation. Assists with PFP social media platforms and oversees updating the Parent Guide and Calendar. Participates in professional staff meetings periodically and student /staff joint meetings/trainings. Other departmental assistance as needed. The position requires 10 hours a week for the fall and spring semesters. Hours may include occasional evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education
Bachelor’s degree, experience with event planning, strong organizational skills, public speaking, writing, team building, communication and computer skills. Must also have a demonstrated ability to work with diverse constituencies. Full-time graduate student. Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) release to drive the department state vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
Strongly Preferred Personal skills: team-oriented, flexible, responsible, dependable, self-motivated, excellent work ethic, time management skills, creative, college-level written and verbal communication skills, enjoys a fast-paced work environment. Demonstrated leadership skills, knowledge of campus, experience with Microsoft Word & Office (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint & Outlook), Canva, social media management.
Financial Compensation
Hourly rate of $20.00 an hour for 10 hours a week; half in-state/out-of-state tuition scholarship.

Health Promotion & Wellness Graduate Assistantship
The Department of Health Promotion & Wellness graduate assistant (GA) role is to help health educators plan, implement, and evaluate health-related projects, activities, and campus-wide events regarding the Project Health peer education program. The position requires 20 hours per week for the fall and spring semesters, contingent upon a midyear evaluation of the student’s performance. This position assists with executing health education events and campaigns, evaluating departmental initiatives, developing and distributing materials that promote student health and well-being, coordinating Project Health meetings and trainings, participating in professional staff and student/staff meetings, and serving as a responsible junior member of the Health Promotion & Wellness team. Hours may include evenings and weekends, and additional departmental support may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership ability, knowledge of campus resources, and genuine interest in health and well-being. Ability to present health-related topics in both informal and professional settings. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook), Qualtrics, and SPSS. Previous involvement with Project Health or another peer health education program is preferred. Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Financial Compensation
Minimum UA monthly stipend for nine months; full in-state/out-of-state tuition scholarship; and paid student health insurance (optional).

Greek Assembly Hall Graduate Assistantship
Greek Assembly Hall fosters an environment that supports growth and development of students through active engagement at the Greek Assembly Hall facility and the management of programming held by the United Greek Council and National PanHellenic Council, events, scheduling and managing student conference coordinators. They also facilitate community building activities and special occasion programming. This position will support programs and projects that are a part of Greek Assembly Hall.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education
Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a graduate degree program (as of August 2026).
Preferred Qualifications
Membership in a United Greek Council (UGC) or National PanHellenic Council (NPHC) organization is strongly preferred as a consideration for interested candidates.
Financial Compensation
Hourly salary for 20 hours/week. Tuition scholarship. Health insurance coverage opportunities (through the Student Health Center and Pharmacy).
