UA now offers anonymous reporting of any student or student organization misconduct. You can text UAct a report (including photos or video), and no one will know your name or phone number. Use a mobile device with SMS capabilities to text 888-708-8433 (TIDE) to begin your anonymous report. A UA staff member will guide you through the anonymous reporting process during regular business hours.
If you’d like to consider other reporting options that do not require text messaging, please visit the UAct website. If it’s an on-campus emergency, please contact UAPD at (205) 348-5454, and if it’s an off-campus emergency, please dial 911.
Get Started
- Text 888-708-8433 (TIDE) with your report (include any photos or videos you would like to submit as evidence).
- An automated response will confirm receipt of your report.
- You will receive a response text from a UA staff member during normal business hours to acknowledge your report and ask any clarifying questions.
- A case will be initiated through the appropriate responding campus office (Dean of Students, Student Conduct, Title IX, etc.).
- A UA staff member will reach out directly to any individuals named in the report.
What to Include
