1893 Society

The 1893 Society leadership development experience is a program open to all University of Alabama students which was established to explore the unique experiences of women in building relevant job skills, preparing for a chosen profession and leveraging technology as a resource to stay on pace with the evolving world. This unique program will enhance the student’s understanding of self, create opportunities to evolve their ability to work with others and help them apply advice and perspective from accomplished alumni in tech and other challenge-driven job industries that will help create an ongoing loop of opportunity (for them and others in their reach of influence).

How to Join

This program will begin in early in the spring semester and will have 8-10 meetings. Participation in the program will be free, and all materials will be provided. There will be opportunities for mentorship, networking and continued learning for all participants. We have created an interest form that can be accessed using the button below.
